Three short courses on sustainable IT, structured as guided lessons with built-in knowledge checks. Start with the Foundations path to understand the bigger picture, then choose your specialisation: Private Devices for households, or Professional Devices for IT teams managing fleets.

Each course has its own certificate. Take all three if you want — the Private and Professional assessments include 5 random Foundations questions each, so understanding the basics matters either way.

Every path ends in a short final assessment. Pass it (75 % or higher) and download a personalised PDF certificate.

Green IT — Foundations — proves you understand the common ground: obsolescence, Moore's Law, carbon footprint, the 4 R's. 10 questions, ~15 min.
Green IT Ambassador for Private Devices — for individuals, students, and household decision-makers. 12 questions (5 Foundations + 7 Private), ~18 min.
Green IT Ambassador for Professional Devices — for IT managers, procurement teams, and sustainability officers. 13 questions (5 Foundations + 8 Professional), ~20 min.
Every certificate carries a verification code based on your name, score, and date — useful for LinkedIn or internal training records.

How the lessons work

What to expect

Each lesson takes 5–10 minutes to read. Knowledge-check questions appear inline after key concepts — they're optional, not graded, and reveal an explanation as soon as you answer. The final assessment for each path is a separate quiz that determines whether you've earned the certificate.

No account is needed. Your progress isn't tracked across visits — if you close the browser mid-lesson, you'll need to find your place again. This is intentional: less data collected means less data at risk.
